Once again I have traveled far north to the Barony of Stierbach
for Inn supplies. This caravan was not as planned. This group I had planned to join for this trip had wagon trouble and never made it to our village. I was lucky that another caravan passed through the village before I had unpacked. Trade is going well and I should return home at the end of this week.

M'lady Isabella has been promoted to the post of Shire Herald!
While the events that resulted in m'lady's advancement are a sad tale that I shall not retell here, less to say that a Good man is no longer with us in her shire or in this world, by the hand of Lesser men not God.
Cheers to you. m'lady Herald Isabella!

It is a Happy Day! Yes, I have been given a second chance at pet owner. M'lady Isabella, we did indeed place banners all about the village and everyone took to the streets like it was a revolution. My little Nibbler was returned, tired but no worst for his day long adventure. My many thanks to all those villagers in Oak Grove who helped.
Thanks You All
Thanks You All

It is the saddest day at the Inn today. After a busy morning in which I had left Nibbler (the newest addition to the Inn) in the back paddock, I returned to find he had gotten out and run away. I have search the entire village of Oak Grove and no one has seen him. I and everyone here at the Inn are heartbroken.

A very slow week here at the Inn. A group of five just left for home... The Inn should be nice a quite for a week before my next caravan trip. There are many task I have put off that now I can attend. Cleaning the Inn Keepers rooms from top to bottom being one of the most important. My niece from the unclaimed lands to the far south will arrive this weekend and I think she will be a great help with all my task... If I can keep her away from all those rouge merchant boys... Sara is but 16 years and very young in the ways of the world.

It has been so long since I added to my Journal, I fear many of you may either forgotten me or think me dead of the plague. I have been on one caravan after another. While many think it romantic to travel as pictured here. It just is not like this at all. With high-way men, thieves, and unjust weather most foul, a caravan trip is anything but romantic.

I was wondering if perhaps, m'lord was going to have any time in the next two weeks or so for tourguiding? I have not been on a pilgramage for quite some time and I hear fishes calling my name. :D School starts July 26 so my free time is almost over, such that it was LOL.

It has been a few days since I have updated everyone. This past week I have been helping at a friends Inn. It is great to help when I can. Their Inn is more for people living there, and some of their guest have been there for months. It is a little odd from my guest that are in for one or two nights only as a stop on the way.

It is true that a plague is going around, but no, m’lady, it has not claimed this Inn Keep. I take every precaution, and I never leave home without a few posies in my pocket for good measure. The pictorial you sent has brightened my day. You have my gratitude and my thanks. While pondering the image now, I cannot remember the cause of our joviality. Perhaps it was the play on words behind us, as someone mislabeled the latrines. After all who could ever hope to rest in one of those… no matter what the reason, I do miss your company.
