Just to egg the Scots on... This is the new weapon from the north. Beware: will cause defeat and de stomach to hurt.

Looks good... taste good... oh the foul evil that follows.

Ye be warned!

Well that was quick! I can not afford the housing I desire and do not desire the housing I can afford. Thus, I will remain in the old Hay Loft for another year. It is home and I know it well.

Friday I put the old hay loft vacancy sign out and am looking for a new hovel. Anyone looking for a like new, very comfortable, fresh straw, plaque free, loft?

Who left the gate open? Now I have to run down the chickens again. It is going to be a long day!
Who you going to call....

Medieval Busters!

We are the rappers from the 1400's!

(Don't you just hate 500 year old hand-me-downs!)
There were a few upset tummies, but for the honor of the Lady, I was not going to speak of them.

Scottish Eggs are evil things. The Scot's could not win the war so they instead try to poison all of us.

Another Day, Another Fair!

A grand time was had by all. With laughes, and drinks , and some things we should never speak of again, we four have lived to fair again... ok two weeks, same place. It's a date!

There was a notable run in with a troll... but Lady Kristy out did the brute with her many charms.

Another dramatic run in with a (un-named) Lady of the court was over come by Lady Isabella's beauty.

And the Lady Wendy protected us all from a tall... very tall shirtless man. We shall not speak of the sacrifice the Lady Wendy made for the good of us all.
Death of a good character! The Tudors have killed of William Compton. While yes he did die of the sweating sickness, he did not have to die this early in the show.

All that is left to say is Bravo!, well played Kris Holden-Reid.

My dear friend has a new title with all the honors and responsibilities that accompany it. Presenting, with great pride, the Lady Isabella di Ambrogio Poliziano.

You have come a long way from the orphaned little girl from Montepulciano, Tuscany, to the Lady you are today.

Well Done!

Once again it is time for fantasy and folly. In the Barony of South Downs there is again a great Festival. Even if the Kingdom does not outright recognize these joval displays of foolery for their complete disregard the common and noble law, many good folks still attend for the entertainment alone.

My dear friends from the far south will caravan up for next weekend. A good time is expected by all.

Life as an International Man of Leisure has come to an end. Now it is work and more work. Oh... today is a half day. It time to play... Yah!

I, on most days, pay no attention to the various street hawkers with their many claims and declarations. Today, I passed a man of cures and savs and had to share with all my good and gentle Ladies and Lords the amazing clams he is making. He's claim to cure Peehole Spiders is beyond the small laugh I tend to give such outrageous statements. Enjoy
Today I am cleaning and making ready the Inn for a smaller group of Pilgrims from Fairfield. There is always much to oversee before they arrive this evening, but I am never too busy to provide M'lady with another tall pint of her favorite ale.

Enjoy!

After much searching I have re-painted the Ole Inn. What do you think?

Would M'lady like some taste pie while I refill her ale? They are fresh from the oven... Made with the finest spices from around the world...Filled with the best cuts of chicken, beef and pork....
